Shrimp and Chicken Paella

Shrimp and Chicken Paella

New Global Flavors: Shrimp and diced chicken cooked in a one-pot meal with a Spanish seasoned rice and tender vegetables.

Medium Instructions

Thaw in refrigerator
1.Heat large skillet over med-high heat. Add vegetable and chicken blend to pan and sauté for 3-4 min.
2.Add Paella base (red sauce bag) to pan and stir to combine, cook for another 1-2 min. Add bag of rice, stirring again to combine. Add 1 ½ cups of water to the pan, stir and place lid over top. Turn down heat to med-low and allow to cook without stirring for 18-20 min.
3.Once rice has absorbed most of the liquid and is cooked through, add shrimp to skillet, half burying them in the rice mixture. Cover and cook for 4-6 min. until shrimp turn pink (internal temp of 145°F). .
4.Remove pan from heat. Cut bottom corner of garlic aioli bag (white sauce bag) and drizzle over entire paella. Serve with lemon wedges if desired.
